The H520E is also available in a variant with RTK support. This system allows you to make photogrammetric measurements of exceptional precision, in a range of 1-1.5 cm.
The system is ideally suited for surveyors and other users wishing to generate professional, accurate orthophotomaps, 3D models or other surveying or construction documentation. In addition, the use of RTK makes it possible to improve the drone's stability in places where errors in reading the position from GPS can occur due to reflected signals (so-called multi-path error), e.g. next to tall buildings or in
mountainous area.

Real-time kinematics - application areas
The RTK system is a key component for commercial applications where the highest precision is required. A classic application area is 3D mapping, for example with Pix4D, Dronedeploy or Altizure software. Using RTK, there are significantly fewer image overlaps, requiring fewer images and thus shorter flight and calculation time. Moreover, inspections can take place much closer to the desired object, as the drone's location is accurate to the centimetre. This precision is also a great advantage when comparing multiple images taken on different days, for example to document a construction progress.

Intelligent safety concept

The Yuneec H520E RTK has been developed with the highest standards of safety and functionality. The 6-rotor system enables stable and safe flight by ensuring that the Yuneec H520E RTK can continue to fly safely even if a rotor fails. Built-in ultrasonic sensors allow the drone to detect obstacles and avoid collisions.

Reliable, stable and accurate

Even in a high wind environment, the Yuneec H520E RTK sUAS system can maintain its position, allowing smooth flight planning even when a manned inspection would be considered unsafe. Exclusive speed control provides the lowest flight speed for maximum precision in crowded environments. The H520E / RTK's landing gear can be retracted for a full 330° view of the environment to capture important data in the field.

No transfer to remote servers

Your data is yours. The H520E RTK Hexacopter and the ST16S / E remote control communicate directly, so there is no involuntary data transfer to external servers anywhere in the world. Neither flight data nor images, videos or log files are forwarded to external servers and remain in your possession. Thus, your data is optimally protected.

Orbit Flight

Orbit Flight mode lets the H520 RTK circle around the pilot/remote at a user-defined distance, always pointing the camera towards the centre of the circle.

Hot-swappable payload options

All our H520E RTK cameras are hot-swap-compatible on our sUAS platforms, saving significant time by eliminating the need to shut down/reboot the system. This also ensures consistency of data storage, instead of using multiple storage devices and locations. Whether thermal imaging technology, long focal length or capturing data over a wide focal length, memory cards can be swapped from device to device.

ST16S/E All-in-one controller

The ST16S/E ground station is an all-encompassing transmitter and receiver that gives you full control of the H520E RTK during a flight, allowing users to take excellent photos and videos. With a large 7-inch integrated screen, the Android-based ST16S / E controller displays real-time images of your flight, eliminating the need for an external device. You can also use the ST16S / E as a mission planner. Plan your flight using the touchscreen and execute your mission with just a single touch of a button.

Yuneec DataPilot™

The Yuneec DataPilotTM software system allows users to efficiently and consistently crop orthomaps, 3D scans and data images for repeatable, callable flight paths, without the need for expensive third-party software. Missions/flights can be saved for later repeat flights, or scheduled off-site and transported to the operating system via e-mail, thumbdrive or micro-SD card. DataPilot automatically generates survey paths with user-defined front flap / side edge and shading for accurate 3D or large-format image output. DataPilot also enables storage / caching of maps from many map providers for access in areas without connectivity, and provides tools for accurate waypoint placement even in areas where no updated maps are available.

Yuneec UpdatePilot

Stay up-to-date with the YUNEEC UpdatePilot for the H520E RTK with E90X camera. Available on the Google Play Store, the app allows you to check and automatically update your drone to the latest software version. After opening the app, selecting wifi and camera, you can search for software updates with a single click on the "Check app version" button and automatically download and install the latest update if necessary. Make sure the H520E RTK is enabled. Please note that the YUNEEC UpdatePilot can only be installed on the ST16E and a micro SD card must be inserted into the camera to perform the updates. Currently, the YUNEEC UpdatePilot is only available for the H520E RTK with E90X camera.
