Description
Remote Identification (Remote ID) means that other parties can receive basic information about drones in the air digitally (in a similar way to general aviation).
The sample data that Remote ID drones transmit wirelessly during flight are the operator's registration number, the drone's serial number and current position.
The aim of Remote ID is to enable organised management of drone activities to ensure safe airspace.
For example, if a pilot flies his drone into a controlled area around an airport today, it is not possible to contact him and alert him
for the potential risk of collision with other aircraft - and that is one of the problems Remote ID solves.
Remote network identification
Dronetag Mini for the Yuneec H850/H520(E) and the Typhoon-H transfers your drone's position and identification to the cloud.
By displaying real-time data in the app, Dronetag enables coordination across the European Union.
Direct (broadcast) remote identification
Information from your drone is transmitted via Bluetooth up to 1.5 km (0.9 miles).
With Direct Remote ID, you meet all the new requirements of the EASA regulations that will be mandatory from June 2023.
