Basic drone training
€ 545,00
This training course is specially designed for the beginner and semi-advanced drone pilot, in which you will learn how to prepare your drone for flight, how to operate the drone, the safety requirements you need to follow and how to maintain your drone. All this for efficient deployment of your drone and labour hours.
The course consists of three parts in which we teach you some basic operations specific to your work, 1-day course: theory & practice.
You can book general basic drone training with us, which consists of three parts.
The 'first part' is a general theoretical part consisting of three sub-parts,
- Unpacking the drone and discussing the parts and their application
- Preparing the drone for flight
- Discussing the drone and remote control
The 'second part' is going through the functions of the remote control and the drone.
Here, a distinction is made between the drone's controls and the various specific functions of the drone such as programming autonomous flight.
During the second part, the specific application for which the trainee will deploy the drone is also discussed in detail. Things like the camera (payload), method of deployment, data collection and analysis tools are discussed intensively. For each application, there will be specific basic training which automatically means that a roofer will not receive crop or hunting training. So you will always be in a group with peers. This group consists of a maximum of 6 people.
For example, the application discussed per group of trainees is:
- Hunting-related application such as finding fawn (for mowing) and other wildlife
- Leaks in roofs using thermal camera and/or measuring roofs
- Making a heat scan of a building and/or thermal inspection using a thermal imaging camera
- Crop inspection using a multispectral camera
- General inspection using various RGB (normal vision) cameras
- Creating a 2D map of a terrain or a 3D view of a property
After the first two parts, we will have lunch. After lunch, we will fly!
third part
The 'third part' is the practical part
In the third part of general drone basic training, we will perform pre-flight checks and dwell on the safety aspects of drone deployment. After this, we will finally make the first take-off.
We then do some exercises to get to grips with the drone's controls.
The final practical part is flying as you would within the application for which the drone will be used!
At the end of the practical part, the trainee will receive a certificate demonstrating their ability to fly a drone and knowledge of the application in both theory and practice.
