Drone training basic light (A1/A3 certificate)

Basic Light drone pilot training is the minimum mandatory training for the EU Drone Licence for the lowest risk category.
This is a mandatory online training course for any drone pilot who wants to fly a drone weighing more than 250g.
This training is particularly intended for individuals or novice commercial drone users who want to fly better, smarter and safer drones from the lowest risk categories.
The DronePilot Basic Light training is the mandatory minimum training for drone pilots, who want to fly in the lowest risk categories. You take the course online and conclude with an online theory exam. With the obtained certificate, you can apply for the (European recognised) drone flying licence and are able to fly light drones. The following drones are covered by DronePilot Basic Light training:
- Current drones without Cx labels from 250g to 500g
- Current drones without Cx labels from 500 grams up to 25 kilograms (minimum 150 metres distance from people and buildings, among others)
- Future drones from 250 to 900 grams, with CE mark C0 or C1
- Future drones from 4 kilograms to 25 kilograms, with CE mark C2, C3 or C4 (minimum 150 metres distance from people and buildings, among others)
