 82,65

The online DronePilot Basic training course is the minimum mandatory training for the EU Higher Risk Category drone licence. This training is particularly intended for experienced private and commercial drone users who want to fly drones from the higher risk categories better, smarter and safer. The DronePilot Basic training course is entirely online.

The DronePilot Basic (A2) training is the mandatory training for drone pilots who want to fly in higher risk categories. You take the course online and also complete it with an online theory exam. Because you are allowed to fly heavier drones in built-up areas after completing this course, you are also required to take an additional online exam. With the obtained certificate, you can apply for the (European recognised) drone licence and are allowed to fly all types of drones. Moving on to an Advanced course is possible after this. The following drones are covered by the DronePilot Basic (A2) course:

  • Current drones without Cx labels from 250 grams to 2 kilograms
  • Current drones without Cx labels from 2 to 25 kilograms (minimum 150 metres distance from people and buildings, among others)
  • Future drones from 250 to 4 kilograms, with CE mark C0, C1 or C2
